Stream Live Video From Your iPhone!

Ever been somewhere and wanted to share the moment with others, but alas, all you could do was tell them about it.   Well now, with the touch of a button, your friends and family can watch where you are, or what you are doing live through the Cydia app Qik.

When you register with Qik, you get your own website that streams your live video as well as stores previously recorded videos.  All you would have to do is let all your buddies know to go to your website and boom!;  Wherever you are in the world (which qik has an option to use your location) and maybe more importantly, wherever your buddies are in the world, they can watch you live with sound included.

The possibilities with live streaming video on your iPhone are endless.  You and your long distance friends could  have live video chats from your computer.  Video Blogging could be taken to a new level, or you could even show car damage instantly to your insurance agent.  And it only takes 1 minutes time to download it, and it’s at your finger tips.  Oh, did I mention it is free!

The App store has a Qik App but it doesn’t support Live Feeds.  This is only available with Jailbroken phones that have Cydia.  Bit of warning however, don’t do anything you would be ashamed of, because the videos are publicly shown on Qik’s main page.  Of course you could turn that option off, but what would be the fun of that!
